Sorry for having forgotten about this column last Saturday, I'll compensate by throwing in today two more road tests to compensate for the two Saturdays I missed. This is the only road test of a Typhon I've ever heard. Because it's inserted into a single article about TVR's plans for the future circa 2004, it starts on page 69 only, but it's more than worth reading. Too bad it never made it into the market.

The rear of the later cars definitely looked better.
The Sagaris 2 was pretty good too, even if it was a bit more "traditional."
Also, holy crap this is a ten year old car.

I also prefer how the Mk2's rear looks. It was done that way so that the car would be street-legal in the Continent, IIRC.

I never liked the Typhon or Sagaris, but the Tuscan seems like quite a good deal. I mean they are 30k cars in Europe.

30k? Like in 30k GBP or 30k USD? 30k GBP is what a four-litre Mk1 in good shape will set you back. Mk2s are 35k GBP or more. And that's in Britain, Continent prices are much higher.
It's a good deal but much like a Corvette, there are several drawbacks. Maintenance for a Tuscan Speed 6 isn't exactly cheap.

30k Euros is what you can get a Tuscan for in Germany. Actually, it's less for the older models: http://suchen.mobile.de/auto/tvr-tusca…

Living the US means liking all the lineup of TVR since we've never seen them realtime. That Sagaris is a beast with those sideway exhausts! It just doesn't care it just wants to go fast! I hope TVR can resurface and get some cars sold.

I've never seen a TVR IRL either, man. And I've been in one of their dealerships.
